AKKON PLC is a programmable logic controller
board that can be used for general purpose tasks in the area of
development, teaching and automation. Becaus of its high performace
it can very good be used for as motion controller for numeric controller
machines (CNC).

Architecture
Following picture shows the architecture
of the AKKON PLC board. The black colored boxes outline logic elements,
the blue ones plugs. The arrows indicate the information flow and
its directions.
